It’s a wrap!

Our Easter Residential Football Camp has drawn to a close, leaving us with some fantastic moments and an eagerness to develop on what we’ve built. Three days. Two nights. One Football Camp. Made greater by the glorious sunshine on our backs for the duration.

We’ve already got our dates confirmed for our Summer Residential Football Camp. Hosted at the prestigious Bradfield College, for boys & girls aged 10 – 15. See more details about Bradfield below.

What happened?

Over the course of our football camp (hosted at Leighton Park School, Reading), the players immersed themselves in lots of football. From technical drills to tactical sessions, small-sided games to workshops. The energy and enthusiasm from all the players were great on, and off the pitch.

Beyond the on-field action, we were thrilled to offer something a little different, a series of enriching, educational sport-related workshops to help provide a holistic learning experience. Jane from The Performance Plate and Brentford FC joined us to deliver a fascinating nutritional workshop. The players got hands-on, creating delicious (we think!) and nutritious energy balls and smoothies, all while learning about the vital role of proper nutrition in athletic performance and recovery. They gained valuable insights into fueling their bodies for optimal performance, both on and off the pitch.

We also welcomed Richard, who introduced the players to the world of Yoga. While there were definitely some laughs along the way, some achey bodies, and some not-so-flexible teens, the players quickly discovered the incredible benefits of yoga for injury prevention and recovery. Richard guided them through a series of stretches and poses, teaching them valuable techniques that will help them improve flexibility, balance, and strength.

Our final workshop was a short presentation on sports psychology delivered by Andreas from Portsmouth FC, who shared his expertise. He presented a thought-provoking talk on the impact of mental training on performance, helping players understand that there’s more to being an athlete than what you do with your feet and a ball.

Adding to the excitement, we were incredibly fortunate to be joined by Dan Magness, a multiple world-record football freestyler. Dan’s precise ball control and mesmerising tricks left the players in awe. He not only wowed them with his skills but also took the time to teach them some new moves, inspiring them to push their own boundaries, explore, and be creative.

Our Team:

We choose our staff & partners carefully to help offer the best footballing experience for the players. Our team works, and has worked with Arsenal, Brentford, Chelsea, Fulham, Millwall, Norwich City, Portsmouth, QPR, and Wealdstone. They come with the experience and knowledge that helps create a better environment for development.

Summer Residential Football Camp

Like players, we are also developing. We aim to make each football camp better than the last one. We’re introducing a few new things, some of which are:

  • Assessment testing: Speed & Agility timing gates.
  • Swimming.
  • Strength & Conditioning in a fully equipped suite.
  • Match analysis* following a fixture vs an external team.

Our dates for the summer residential are: 4th – 8th August, hosted at the incredible Bradfield College!
