What is the Gothia Cup?
The “World Youth Cup”
The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest and most international youth football tournament, held annually in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Who can join us? ANYONE! Academy players, JPL, grassroots. Anyone is allowed to join us on this trip to compete in the Gothia Cup. It doesn’t take you away from your current team. Our players live all around the UK, from London, Essex, Devon, to Yorkshire, even overseas!

The Road to Gothia: Selection Process
Register for Trials
Sign up for our Talent ID days or attend one of our Residential Camps. This is the first step to showcasing your ability. Residential camps are in Easter & Summer, with Talent ID days regularly. Open to boys & girls!
Assessment & Selection
Our UEFA qualified coaches assess players on technical skill, tactical understanding, and most importantly: attitude. Successful players receive an official invitation to join the REPs Football Gothia Squad.
Pre-Tour Training Camp
Selected squad members attend a pre-tour residential football camp to build team chemistry, work on tactics, and prepare physically for the tournament demands. Teams will also take part in a series of fixtures.
Fly to Sweden
The squad travels together from London to Gothenburg. You’ll stay in the team accommodation, train, compete in the Gothia Cup, and take in the wonderful cultural experience, creating memories that last forever.

There’s also a host of other activities that both players & parents can take part in. Some of these are:

During the week-long tournament, SFK also have various centres open where visitors can experience new foods, play games, buy merchandise, along with a host of other fun activities.
REPs Football take players from different teams within the UK to compete in the tournament.
