We know there's more to football than being good with your feet. Your body needs to know how to help prevent injuries and you need to know how to help it recover from them.

The yoga programme delivered by Richard is designed to do just that. Not many know, but for centuries, yoga was used as a way to help build strength, increase stamina, and achieve mental clarity. Specifically designed to aid with the physical demands of warriors and athletes.

Yoga is now a vital part of any athlete's training programme.

At first, the players raised an eyebrow when we mentioned yoga. But soon quickly learnt about the benefits of correct exercise before and after games and training. The players also enjoyed learning new breathing techniques that help with stressful situations, such as taking a penalty in the last minute.
